Dr. Hakeem Hammood Flayyih is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting Studies at the Postgraduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, University of Baghdad, Iraq. He obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Baghdad, and completed his Ph.D. at the University of Tunis.

Dr. Flayyih has developed a distinguished research profile in the areas of audit quality, earnings management, corporate governance, and sustainable development. He has contributed extensively to the academic community through the publication of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and the co-authorship of five academic textbooks.

He currently serves as a member of the Institute’s Advisory Board and sits on the editorial boards of five national and international academic journals. According to his Google Scholar profile, Dr. Flayyih has received over 2,168 citations, with an h-index of 28 and an i10-index of 66, reflecting his active engagement and scholarly impact in the fields of accounting and finance.

His research interests also extend to contemporary topics such as intellectual capital analysis, risk management, and the application of advanced statistical and econometric models in financial markets and the banking sector. He possesses strong expertise in statistical analysis tools, including SPSS, AMOS, and SmartPLS, which he employs in quantitative and empirical research.
